About Me

My name is Krista Jefferies, I am 34 years old. I recently moved out to the country in Garland, Utah with my husband, two kids, two dogs, two cats and a bunny. We love to be active outdoors with them, especially in the mountains. I love my animals and plan on getting goats and chickens next year. We are also big nerds; fantasy books, tv shows and dungeons and dragons are some of our favs. Here's a few pictures of my cuties-

I have always been a creator but about 8 years ago I fell in love with making and DIY. I refinished furniture for about 4 years (I still love it and work on my own pieces occasionally) but after we bought our first house I decided it was time for me to buy some tools. I started making home decor pieces and other functional things inspired by my needs and wants.

After COVID hit in early 2020 I was itching for something new. An opportunity came for me to buy a lathe and that was always a dream of mine. I was able to take over most of the garage with my shop which makes things a lot easier. As soon as I got it set up, I was out there practicing day and night. I knew immediately this was something I could do for the rest of my life. It was the best way for my artistic side (I have a bachelors degree in fine art) to mesh with my wood shop side. I seriously love what I do and I hope it comes across in my pieces.

Since we moved to a property with much more space, I have a giant shop with plenty of room for tools and wood storage. Its my new sanctuary and luckily its only a 10 second walk from my back door!
